I graduated in Computer Science: Graphics from Staffordshire University with a first class honors degree in 2011, and since then have had a volunteer job that has allowed me to work both in the UK and abroad.
At university I studied a variety of topics, including: Programming for graphics and games; Computer AI; Software development in C#, Java, Haskell, and C++; and hardware and networking using CISCO material.
For my Final Year Project, I focused on the creation of Fractals, looking at image and audio manipulation techniques using fractal algorithms (This Markus-Lyapunov Fractal was rendered using my software).
As part of my university studies I also took a sandwich year, where I worked as an intern for Hewlett Packard in Germany.
After university I took a three year volunteer job, working with students for a year in Staffordshire, England; and then for two years in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During this time I have been working with students, alongside a multinational team. I have also taken the responsibility of maintaining the Slovene charity's website, as a way to help out but also as a way to develop my web programming skills.
In my spare time I enjoy writing, especially poetry; reading; cooking and listening to music. In the summer I enjoy cycling, and in the winter snowboarding.
